If you don't mind, please take a moment and read these rules. There are only a few, and I think it should help get you started on life in The Valley.
If you don't mind, please take a moment and read these rules. There are only a few, and I think it should help get you started on life in The Valley.
Character Creation/Beginning
1. Please be patient with approval as it can take some time. We try our best to get things done as quickly as possible.
2. Please make sure to follow the rules given beside the bio's field. (Appearance should be 100 words long, as well as personality.)
Roleplay
1. Do not roleplay until your character has been approved by a member of staff.
2. This is a literate roleplay, meaning no text talk what-so-ever. It also means to put forth effort into your posts. No one-liners. Posts should be at least 100 words.
3. OoC (Out of Character) is named so for a reason. Keep it out of the roleplay (unless specified as out of character).
4. You have to have an attendance of at least one month before having cubs. Gestation period is one week.
5. This is based far off from any human settlements. Hunters are a possibility, but they're very rare.
6. Make sure to add Wolves Mentioned and Wolves Addressed at the end of your posts. It keeps confusion down to a minimum.
7. If you wish to do the dirty, take it off-site. Ain't nobody wanna see that.
8. All posts must be in third person perspective.
9. Power-playing and God-modding are strictly forbidden. (The only exception to this rule being if the character you are roleplaying with suddenly goes inactive, in which case PM a member of staff for permission to power-play, for the sake of moving the roleplay forwards).
i. Power-playing is the act of playing out the actions/reactions of a character that does not belong to you.
i.e. 'Fluffy flicked his tail at Shadow and gloated as Shadow cried', this is power-playing because you cannot say that Shadow cried, or even that your tail hit Shadow, that is up to whoever plays Shadow.
ii. God-modding is, in essence, when someone’s character has the ability to do practically anything without limits or boundaries.
i.e. Your character simply cannot be harmed by any and all means other roleplayers try.
iii. In summary, if you do not own a wolf, then you cannot have that wolf say anything, or do anything, without the player's express permission.
iv. The secret word is 'latrans'.
General Rules
1. No profanities used excessively, please!
2. Do not spam the threads or chat boxes.
3. Respect the mods and admins. If you have a problem with one, message the owner, Shade.
4. Respect other members. Out-of-character discrimination based on race / sex / sexuality / religious beliefs etc. will earn you an instant ban.
These rules are meant to be followed. If they are broken excessively, the violator will be temporarily removed from all activities. Thank you!
