Shard seeks, as any wolf, a life-long companion, specifically one who will care for her when she does not. She is very open-minded in that she does not care if that wolf is not the strongest or the bravest, as long as they are able to prove their own worth. Do not be fooled, she will not tolerate just any wolf, she is looking for the one that makes her heart race and her blood pump faster. Perhaps even the wolf who will, one day, want to have pups with her. Pups whom she could protect at any cost, be it her social standing or her life.

Shard is not considered by many to be beautiful as such. Elegant, perhaps even dignified, but rarely beautiful or dainty. This is mainly due to her extremely dense, fluffy coat that makes her seem much less fragile and delicate than other faes. Underneath her pelt, she possesses well-toned, agile muscles which aid her greatly in hunting and sprinting. Her shoulders are not particularly slim but are not bulky either. Looks wise, Shard is quite average, her only feature that is vaguely unique is her eye colour, an olive green. Not to mention the scars that litter her slate grey pelt. The most significant of which is a set of claw marks that runs diagonally across the top of her left haunch. This scar holds particularly harsh memories of a scrap that she got into a few months ago, in which she almost died of blood loss. Anyone who knows her even vaguely knows that it is best not to ask her about the scar nor the fight that caused it.
If you met Shard for an hour and were then asked to describe her in one word, that word would very likely be "Stubborn." Not stubborn in a bad way, at least, not for her. But stubborn in the fact that she does not comply with what she should think nor what she should do, but rather, what she feels is morally right. This does not mean that she disrespects her alphas, for the most part, she will obey them, but if she does not agree, she is not afraid to speak out first and then carry on with the order. Her stubbornness also makes her an incredibly resilient and somewhat courageous fae, for she is also too stubborn to keel into the fears that may dwell in the pit of her stomach. However, her stubbornness should not be mistaken for insensitivity or rudeness, she is a kind, courteous fae, who enjoys socialising with and helping her pack-mates. She considers this loyalty to and protectiveness of her pack one of her greatest assets. In fact, despite the overhanging stubbornness, she is a very easy-going she-wolf, with a wicked sense of humour, often possessing a confident, but relaxed stature. Another thing that could be said about this she-wolf is that she has a quick, logical mind, able to make strategic, and often effective plans, and one that aids her in swiftly making up witty comebacks when insulted or provoked. This fae is far from stupid and although she possesses the ability to remain serious and realistic, she is often optimistic and comforting, able to console wolves with her soothing, empathic words. This aspect of her personality makes her rather selfless, frequently putting her pack-mates feelings before her own and helping them to move on. Due to this, she often bottles up her own feelings, not wanting to be a burden to another wolf. If someone hurts her mentally so much that her sharp tongue falters, she will simply turn away and continue on, as if unaffected. Unfortunately, this also means that these experiences stay with her, seeping back into her nightmares, despite how hard she tries to cover them up with her own, laid-back, optimistic personality. Shard, in herself, challenges many perceptions of having certain personality aspects. For example, many wolves would naturally expect a wolf they have be told to be a calm, caring, heart-warming fae to shy away from battle, would they not? Well if they did, they would be extremely wrong about this fae. This fae is a skilled, swift fighter, using her agility and stamina much more than her strength, making her an effective and lethal killer. Backing down is not something that Shard does without an excellent reason and lots of reluctance.
