Name: Copper
Nickname(s): Some call him Red, or Cop/Coop, but otherwise just Copper
Age: 3 1/2
Gender: Male
Rank: Warrior
Species: Tibetan Wolf
Pack: Heavenheld
Appearance:
Being that the Heavenheld pack is located in the cold mountains of Clarity Peak, it's perfect luck that Copper has the thick, fluffy coat of your average Tibetan wolf. The many layers of his light roan colored fur keep the wolf perfectly insulated when he wonders the mountains of his chilly territory. His large size is a significant advantage in intimidation, often times Copper can scare his rivals off just with his broad shoulders and large build. Muscle is hidden there but the majority of his size is his thick creamy white underbelly and reddish brown streaked fur which stands out significantly from his body, making Copper look larger than he actually is. His long limbs and bushy tail can get in the way sometimes, his eagerness tends to allow for a significant amount of stumbling and clumsiness with his bulky size, however he works his hardest he can to make the most of his build. Stamina is not Copper's strong suit, but luckily he rarely needs it
Personality: This male wolf's pack fits his personality perfectly, despite his large and somewhat intimidating stature, Copper is incredibly friendly and has one of the brightest personalities of his goodhearted pack. Meeting him, many think the wolf simple minded, or naive, which, to tell the honest truth he is, however he remains positive and quietly oblivious to the judgement of others. Loyal and honest to a fault, Copper will stand by the safety and well being of any and every other wolf, thinking that every one of them deserves the same treatment no matter their pack, status, or personality. Often times Copper will get so caught up in trying to help these other wolves he'll put himself second, choosing to step off from his own well being in order to insure the happiness and well being of others. This can on occasion lead to periods of self neglect, and force him into a sort of protective shell to cover up his feelings, but no matter what they are, if it helps someone else, he'll always try his hardest to stay positive and cheerful.
Though he has the perfect build for it, Copper is a very hesitant warrior, he dislikes having to fight or hurt other wolves and hates the very idea of violence, let alone committing it. Due to this his only option is to use his intimidation actor to the best of his ability or else become a hindrance to the other warriors and not the greatest asset in battle, leading to often teasing and insults thrown his way afterwords for his 'wimpiness'. Because of his extreme empathetic emotions the wolf has trouble with the idea of doing harm to something that they could do to him, he's a strong believer of treat others the way you'd like to be treated and doesn't like to break his moral code. However being that he's too bulky to be a Scout, and killing small animals is just as bad as attacking large ones, being a Warrior was the best selection Copper could've possibly gotten.
History: When you're born a Tibetan wolf, your often immediately gifted with incredible size and strength, and due to this Copper's lineage was full of tough wolves, fighters, the kinds of ones you don't want to mess around with. His mother, Aspen was one of the more gentle of the family, mating with his father, Convel, simply because the male had a strong liking for Aspen and rarely was this family denied what they wanted. Upon learning that she was pregnant, Aspen immediately wanted not to tell her mate, simply because the shewolf knew he'd want to raise his child to become a fierce warrior and follow in the footsteps of the family. She knew the darkness behind their image of bravery and nobility, and she didn't want her pup to grow into that, and so Aspen kept it secret as long as possible, until Convel one day learned of the pregnancy not a week before it was due. Furious that she'd kept it a secret, he vowed to get revenge as soon as the pup was born. The rest of the pack saw none of this, and so the shewolf lived alone in despicable dread until the day finally came for her to deliver. Formulating a plan, Aspen went for a walk upon feeling the pup kick and knowing it was coming, she left camp and went as far as possible, unawares to the fact that Convel was following her being the suspicious wolf he was. The moment the male pup was born Convel revealed himself, and in petrified terror his mate scramble away, and fell to her death off a ledge.
In grim satisfaction the male carried his newborn son home and told the false, heroic but tragic story of how Aspen had turned on her pup the moment he was born, and how in defense he'd fought her off, finally leading to her rage filled death. Copper, unfortunately for the family line, grew up much like his mother, in fact even more cheerful and naive, making him a severe disappointment to both Convel and the pack. As the pup grew older, motherless, his father grew more and more annoyed at his pathetic pup, and finally devised a clever plan to murder Copper and blame it on a rival pack, and thus start a war in which Convel could once again become a hero. This however went horribly wrong when a landslide killed the proud and twisted father, leaving Copper orphaned and horror stricken, thinking neither of his parents cared for him.
Not wanting any others to feel the jarring rejection and horrific sorrow he'd experienced, the peaceful Tibetan wolf became his own beacon of light and in order to make sure he wouldn't worry his companions and fellow pack members created his shell, his shield. In this way Copper did follow his lineage, he became strong, or at least the wall he built up between his true emotions and what he felt others would expect was strong, something his despicable father would be proud of. At the same time he wanted nothing more than to be the opposite of his father, seeing as he was cruel hearted, had tried to kill his son and as far as Copper knew had 'accidentally' killed his mother.
Talents: Optimism, Copper is incredibly skilled at staying positive and encouraging to himself and others no matter how dire the circumstances. The male wolf is also very empathetic, understanding, he has a good way with his words to help others out even when he can be clumsy and slip up.
Habits: Smiling, wrinkling his nose, tripping over things, putting other's health before his.
Sexuality: Copper has never been one for labels, and dislikes having to clarify himself with a single word to describe his romantic and sexual preferences, but has been known to fall for both males and females, the opposite gender more often than not.
