West's paw gently pulled Shade into his chest. Of course, Shade followed the direction with no resistance. He wasn't sure what West had planned, but an oppurtunity to get closer to the white hound is a thing he would never pass up. Upon hearing what his mate had to say, Shade's black face lifted into a grin. "Is that so? Well, it's a shame I missed out on that.." His eyes closed. He was simply enjoying this moment to it's fullest. West's body heat englufed Shade's head, as well as his brilliant fragrance. Shade inhaled deeply, nuzzling further into his fur. "Well, I was thinking we could head east of here. You know that really cold wooded area? I feel like there's something there..Maybe we aren't the only pack around."
Shade stayed just like this for a few minutes. If he wasn't careful, he could end up staying there until he fell asleep, which wouldn't be very alpha-like of him. How was he supposed boss everyone around if he was asleep on his mate's shoulder? Then again, the pack could care for themselves. They didn't really need Shade to order them around, did they? This argument tossed around in Shade's mind until he finally forced himself away. "We should probably get going now.." Shade was clearly embarrassed in the way he was acting.
