He really was enjoying himself too much, the water, the night sounds. All of it. It probably wasn't even possible to reach a deeper state of serenity, and if it was, he had no idea how. Not even the fleas bothered him.the water moved in small waves, which lapped at his fur with an odd little sound. He could hear West enter the water behind him, and expectedly, heard him emit a complaint. The water was cold, but not freezing. West was a wolf, he should be fine. "Oh, c'mon. It's not like this is the Arctic Ocean or anything." Directly after Shade's comment, the smaller white wolf flew into the pool with a splash. Shade was now completely doused. Water filled the fur on his ears, kind of laying them out to the side. "Ug! West! How dare you dosrespect your alpha like that!" At first, Shade was actually mad, but soon after, found the whole deal somewhat fun. "I'm liable to demote you, but I think I'm so hungry, I'll just take one of your ears and we'll call it a deal. Sound fair?" Shade, and his wet self, made his way to the white canine, and without a twinge of a hint, pounced right on him. Water flew everywhere. As promised, Shade began biting at his ear, growling playfully while doing so. "I'll teach you, you little disrespectful mutt!" He spoke through clenched teeth, still holding on to his ear.

Wynter was unsure quiet where he was. He had no idea whatsoever actually. He was by a lake? Gray lake, at least he thought that was the name. He shrugged. He could barely talk to people, and not just because he barely knew the common tongue. He was deathly shy of people, so when he saw the two wolves, he was very conflicted. Should he ask for directions or? He had no clue... That's what he got for being forgetful. He barely even remembered his own name. Not that it mattered much. No, perhaps he should ask a squirrel or bird somewhere nearby? He realized that there was no-way he could sneak by, regardless, he had to get though somehow. He made himself look as small as possible, kept his ears down, and proceeded to try to "tiptoe" pass them. Gosh, he thought about how big those wolves were, and how they could snap his neck in an instant. oh, he was freaking himself out badly. He felt like tearing up. He hoped they hadn't noticed him, and then "CRUNCH", oh god, he thought, I stepped on a leaf... Addressed:Shade and West Mentioned:Shade and West(Not really said) Muse: high Notes: Anxious for reply

The night played a silent tune as stars twinkled while the moon gave off its majestic gleam, giving the night life some light. A mass of black had just settled itself within the night’s shadows, ruby red orbs slipping shut at the peaceful sounds of nothing. The creature’s massive body slowly relaxing into the dirt as its breathing slowed and evened out, indicting slumber. Within a matter of seconds multiply howls echoed into the silence, cutting through it like a knife. Orbs shot open only to narrow in annoyance, all he wanted was a simple nap and it’s clear that wouldn't be happening tonight. With a deep sigh, the black brute pushed himself up to stand on large paws and pushes his muzzle towards the dark sky giving a few attentive sniffs. Once he confirmed the direction of the others, Frisk parted his snout until his mouth took shape of a ‘V’ only to let out a howl. The sound low and rough, almost lazy sounding as it bounced into the sky. With his approaching arrival now announced the broad wolf trotted idly towards his newly founded destination.
Careless steps crunched leaves and snapped twigs as Frisk ungracefully maneuvered his way through the dense forest. Ears twitching slightly at the sound of tiny pitter-patter movement darting across the forest floor, signifying that he’s trespassing on rabbit territory. The frightened creatures are lucky Frisk isn't hungry at the moment. Pace soon slowed to a slow walk as voices become apparent, some being ones he knew the others being ones he didn't, which has him slightly concerned, not enough to make him increase his speed though. Movement halted all together at the sight of a rather nervous looking white wolf. Frisk tilted his head slightly to the side as the white wolf about had a heart attack when his paw crunched a leaf. The notion made the brute snort in amusement as he trekked over to the unknown white wolf with his ears pinned and his lip lifted in a snarl, “Move.” He growled out with a nasty tone before walking into Gray Lake’s clearing.
Orbs right away landed on his Alpha who was childishly chewing on the Beta’s ear. A sigh left his mouth as he shook his head in disapproval. In his mind, that was no way an Alpha should behave, although Frisk is a stick in the mud anyway and feels everyone should be serious. In all honesty, he’d probably enjoy other’s company more if they were serious and quiet and never bothered him. That sounded like the perfect life to him. Red eyes wondered away from his Alpha to detect the other wolves, only spotting a few he actually knew, the rest he isn’t familiar with and therefor an instant threat even though everyone else seemed content. Frisk tensed up noticeably, ears flicking back and hackles rising slightly. He hated new wolves, he hated having to deal with new wolves, and it’s not because introductions make him feel all awkward and unsure…. Not at all. Flicking his tail in what could be described as annoyance and nervousness, Frisk turned on his haunches and find a place where he wouldn't be bothered but could still observe everyone.-----------

Regret instantly began to swell within the white wolf's chest upon furthering his entrance into the pool of frigid liquid. He'd been quite reckless and sloppy with his movements; he basically just belly-flopped into the water, and, because of this, he could only assume that maybe Shade had gotten just a bit more wet than he'd have liked. His thoughts and assumptions were only proven to be true a moment later when the voice of his well-known alpha came into earshot. However, despite the fact that the sable male had gotten quite upset, and now held a stern, mighty demeanor, West couldn't help but giggle at how adorable someone so mighty had become by simply having his ears pushed off to the side like that. The amber trenches embedded into the snowy wolf's complexion became affixed to his friend, and remained there for a while, staring in admiration at the black canine. Shade was truly a sight to behold. Though, all of his playfulness and giggles were shoved aside when he suddenly felt weight upon his back, and one of the thin pointed flaps that decorated his head was now held between a set of keen-edged teeth. Was this his punishment? Was.. Was it even a punishment at all, considering the fact that he enjoyed it quite a bit. Either way, it surprised him, and that alone elicited a soft yelp. "Eek! Shade, my ear~!" He cried out playfully, twinges of a chuckle laced throughout his tone. The alabaster canine liked this quite a bit, and, in turn, his feelings for Shade began to intensify. Would this be an appropriate time to confess? It was close to mating season, after all.

The white wolf caused quite a fuss about Shade's vicious approach to 'punishment'. He didn't bite hard, not extremely. Just with enough force to pinch the skin. The flavor was oddly bitter. Strange. He couldn't tell if West was enjoying this, but from the sound of excitement and joy in his voice, he seemed to like it a great deal. Shade was so involved in his little tussle, he hadn't even noticed the new wolf that appeared. He'd finally looked up, but caught himself staring at West awkwardly. He blinked and shook his head. "H-hello. You're not from around here...we-we mean not to harm you. I'm Shade, alpha of Deepwood pack. This is West, my noble beta. Are you lost?" Shade stepped out of the water, keeping his eyes on the white canine before him. His color was close to West, but the two were easily distinguishable. Out of the shadow, into the moon's bright glow came Frisk, a longtime packmate of Shade's. Frisk looked very unimpressed with Shade's behavior, as he should be. It was very immature to become so vulnerable like he had moments ago, but he needed a break. Being a leader proved to be tough.
He knew how Frisk absolutely hated meeting new wolves, so he decided to do him a favor. "Ah, Frisk. Shard went off a while ago to hunt...she hasn't returned. It's been some time now. I'm not worried about her or anything, but I think it is in our best interest to check on her. She may need help. Would you mind doing that? If you don't feel like travel, I'll be off in a moment and you can help this fellow out." He didn't mean to sound pushy, he really was offering Frisk a way out of speaking to the new wolf. He hoped he'd understand.

As quickly as it had begun, the little spat between the alpha and beta males had come to a halt. It was pretty sudden, actually, and West would admit that he sort of wanted it to continue. He knew, though, that they couldn't always be playful, despite how tempting a bit of fun here and there was. Once the pointed appendage was relieved of the sable male's grip, West was able to once again shift his gaze freely, and he did. When the molten orbs were averted upwards, a good, up-close view of the other male's face was caught. Needless to say, the alabaster hound's attraction toward him kicked in, and the redness that had threatened to completely annex his complexion furthered it's overthrow, swallowing up just a bit more of the wolf's snowy coat. He also took quick notice of how the alpha gave him an odd look, then shook his head, as if trying to rid himself of something. The white-pelt frowned a tad, but, understood. Luckily, before West was even given the window of opportunity to do anything stupid, a newcomer was detected, and all attention was instantly turned towards the unfamiliar presence.
Having not been so well with new faces, the alabaster hound stayed silent, allowing Shade to speak with the newbie. It wasn't that he disliked the other, but, West just didn't exactly know what to say, and was quite horrible with introductions. As if one newcomer wasn't enough, another unknown body made itself boldly known. Blood-red eyes pierced the darkness like a blade through a wave of soft, vulnerable epidermis. He then turned to Shade, then back to the new wolf, blinking confusedly at how the alpha's demeanor took a sudden change in course. It caused him to feel a bit weird, and, his chest became heavy with the odd sensation, only further restricting both his will and ability to speak up. Once again, his ears pivoted, and he listened in on the conversation between the two wolves, forming opinions that were left to dwell amongst the hazy field of thought that inhabited his cognitive. Whatever Shade chose to do would be best, though. Right?

Golden eyes watched from a distance as two wolves romped in the lake. The ash colored she wolf was planning on doing some hunting near the shore but no prey was to be found. Instead she had stumbled upon two now three other wolves, they did not look to be hostile and instead seemed more aloof than anything. Though the third wolf that was off to himself didn't seem friendly at all, before she even had a chance to think if she wanted her prescense known or not Rhiannon stepped onto a branch that had fallen from the tree that was now hiding her from being seen the branch had cracked under the weight of her paw and made her prescence known whether she was ready or not. She sighed in annoyance and licked her muzzle nervously before taking a step that would lead her out of her coverage and into the clearing. Rhiannon continued walking until she had reached lake's shoreline she lowered her head staring at her reflection in the lake and watching as small fish scurried away as her front paws caused a ripple effect in the water. She then lowered her head and took her fill of the cold water being careful as to not close her eyes for she was not trusting of wolves she did not know and closing her eyes would leave her vulnerable to an attack.
So instead kept them open and on the two wolves that were nearest her, once she was no longer thirsty then did she lift her head to where it was leveled with her shoulders and licked her muzzle once before turning to face the two wolves,"Hello." Was all she said as she studied the pair before her, one was whiter than her own ash gray coat while the other was black as night with green eyes that reminded her of moss growing on the trees in the Summer. She sat back on her haunches and placed her bushy tail on top of her front paws, she didn't feel like leaving right away nor did she have anywhere that she needed to be at this moment unless her Alphess howled then she would make her leave but until then Rhiannon decided to stay and interact with the two.

"Ah, Frisk. Shard went off a while ago to hunt...she hasn't returned. It's been some time now. I'm not worried about her or anything, but I think it is in our best interest to check on her. She may need help. Would you mind doing that? If you don't feel like travel, I'll be off in a moment and you can help this fellow out."Snorting, the male turned his head to look where Wynter is with his ears flattening against his head in distaste. It’s not that he personally has anything against the unknown wolf, seeing since the white male hasn’t even done anything to him. It’s more of the fact that Frisk just isn’t equipped well enough to deal with unknown company. He’ll embarrassingly admit in silence that it’s a little hard for him to feel comfortable even around his own alpha, yet, he’s more comfortable around the other black pelted male than most others. With a quite huff, the males skull turned back around so eyes could land back upon Shade then they quickly glanced towards West, his pack’s Beta. He never really interacted with West, maybe saw him in passing here and there, but never actually talked with him. He seemed like a nice enough male although he is a bit intimidating with his large size, yet he seemed harmless at the same time. Frisk knew that’s far from the truth, he’s sure West didn’t get his position by being a patsy. With those few seconds of thought, Frisk looked back towards his front-runner with words on the tip of his tongue. His auricle swiftly rotated at the sound of a snap, head turned to stare in the direction as his nose wiggled as he sniffed the air, noticing an unfamiliar scent which sent his hackles raising out of reflex and ears swiveling backwards to show his discomfort. Red orbs stayed focused and body slowly became stiff in anticipation for something bad to happen. It let little comfort to see another unknown wolf walk into the clearing, he mentally groaned in frustration. Another new face and another wash of awkwardness, lovely. Why did he come out here again? Why the hell did he think this was a good idea? Grumbling to himself, eyes shifted to give his leader a sideways glance before looking back at the ash gray fae. He’s extremely tempted to just take his leave now to go find Shard, he at least knows her not to mention there wouldn’t be any new company there. Then again…. What if this was some kind of an attack? Maybe he should just stay, there is strength in numbers anyway. “…… Actually, I’ll stay for a few,” Just to make sure nothing suspicious is going on here, he, of course, didn’t say that out loud though, “Then I’ll take my leave to search for Shard.” He didn’t say anything more, he felt like he didn’t need too. Frisk just stood to the side and studied the new arrival, trying to determine rather or not she stood as a threat, so far there was no actions that could pinpoint her to be aggressive. She’s just kind of…. Here. The black wolf found that a little off putting that she seemed harmless for now which in turn means he has to be nice. Frisk is, of course, a gentleman. “Who are you?” He questioned rudely. So much for being nice. -----------

Hearing a growl she turned her head to look at another wolf that was also black as the night sky. Why he was growling she did not know she possed no threat to the group and even if she had come here with ill intent she wouldn't have made her presence known. She growled more out of annoyance of being growled at than she did out of anger, golden orbs looked the wolf up and down taking in his posture."There's really no reason to be rude, if I was going to attack I wouldn't have done it so openly." She growled with annoyance, before sighing being rude back wasn't going to get her anywhere except maybe a fight.
Deciding to try and be nice to the other wolf instead she took a deep calming breathe before continuing,"Alrighty then I suppose, my name is Rhiannon. And you are?" The she wolf asked of him her tongue sticking out as she licked her muzzle in a nervous gesture. Having calmed down immensely she was slightly nervous of having to talk so much. Maybe she should have avoided this area or left and returned when there were no other wolves present so she could resume her hunt. But to late now as she had thrown herself into the lion's den so to speak.
Rhiannon moved to where she could comfortably sit but also have her eyes on the group of wolves that stood before her. Glancing back at the wolf that had been rude to her, amber orbs turned cold as she continued to asses him. Seeing that he could possibly be a threat to her if he chose to fight her the shewolf hackles rose and her ears lowered but she did not growl. Instead she remained quiet as she was unsure of what else she could say and the feeling of uncomfortableness as well as annoyance washed over her. She could do this she told herself, "just one little conversation then you can go." She thought.

A yawn escaped Ineo's maw as he stood and stretched, awakening from his slumber. He glanced around, drowsily. All was calm at the very edges of the Scared Grove, the home of his pack. He turned back, examining the terrain behind him. Deep within the grove, he could barely make out the deep glow of the plants that scattered the interior of his home land. He shook his coat, knocking off the loose leaves and blades of grass that stubbornly clung to him. Another yawn, another stretch.
Guided by the moon, Ineo began his short trek to Gray Lake. Despite it's allegiance to the annoyingly aggressive pack widely known as the Gray, he made regular journeys to the area. The rocks there were particularly enjoyable to lie upon, much more so than those found in his own grove.
It was a swift travel, able to sustain his gait for the entire duration. As he approached the lake, he could sense something was off nearly immediately. Too many scents invaded him, some he recognized others he did not. Among those scents he recognized were those of his superiors, Shade and West. No need to worry yet, if things had been escalated to a dangerous level it would be obvious.
He approached the scene unfolding before him, not concerned with stealth as he snapped twigs and crushed leaves beneath his large paws. As he expected, he spotted his superiors, along with Frisk. How curious, so many wolves in one spot. Along with his pack members, there were other wolves in the area, those he didn't recognize. He sighed inwardly as he approached the scene, taking a spot a few feet from the passive altercation, tilting his head and lying upon his tummy.

A short while after the arrival of the pair of wolves that now stood before them, whatever situation that had stirred seemed to have been taking a well-needed path towards a not-so-awkward settling. West held no grudge against them, not at all, just, he wasn't so sure of any proper ways to address the newcomers, or, at least, whom he thought to be the young bloods; wolves that had been recently introduced to the pack. The set of appendages that stretched just halfway across the entirety of his muzzle soon parted, just slightly, and tension began to plummet at a leisurely pace, the sensation accompanied by a light, almost inaudible sigh. One could obviously pinpoint the relief that was given, and, just as easily, displeasure could be found as well. Yet another unfamiliar face its seemingly-confused self, and in turn, he could only assume that this aggravated Frisk, judging, of course, by the way that the black wolf half-groaned. 'Another?..' The pale hound thought for a moment in a mildly befuddled state. There hasn't been this much activity within the boundaries of Gray Lake for a while now, so, surely something must've occurred to attract such heavy traffic. It was now up to him to decide for himself whether or not those who just recently made their appearance stood to benefit his pack, or aid in its downfall.
Evaluating the wolves individually, he drew conclusions based upon their overall attitudes toward both leaders, and one another. Frisk, he seemed alright now, and the way he reacted towards the others seemed to be quite genuine. He greeted Shade pleasantly, and it was understood that the two had a bit of history behind them. For now, the canine was trusted, and would undergo no further evaluation. However, it didn't take him long to analyze the other two, and upon doing so, he remained neutral. He neither trusted, or distrusted them. What the snowy canine planned on doing was allowing them to stay if they'd like, and keep a close eye out for any sort of suspicious behavior. After all, they all seemed to react in common ways. None actually came off as intimidating, aside, maybe, from Frisk. But, he and Shade weren't leaders just for the namesake, and it was apparent by just glancing at the two wolves that they were no pushovers. Despite the secretly-cuddly, sincere side of West. But, none knew of that, and, he'd do his best to keep it that way, unless, a certain someone had other plans for him.
Having finalized his decisions, and after allowing all of the others to speak up, the soaking wet barker trudged over towards his alpha, lazily pulling along the body covered in a mess of achromatic fluff. The wolf's head rose, and his muzzle was placed just besides Shade's thin, pointed ear. "I trust the red-eyed one, however, I suggest that we both keep ourselves alert of the other two." West paused for a moment, only to momentarily shift his gaze, glancing over at the two other wolves beside Frisk, turning back to face their leader. "I do not know of them, nor have I any knowledge of their origins. You know I'm not one to do such a thing so often, therefore, I find it in your best interest, Shade, to agree here, for the sake of the pack. Though, if you've found that my judgment has been flawed, I'll abide by alternative commands." He finished up, then turned to face a completely different direction now, one which held the presence of Ineo, yet another member of their little family. Boy, speak of a gathering, eh?
"Hello there, Ineo." West greeted his fellow pack mate with a soft smile, bowing his head as well. "What brings you out so late? You'd normally be sleeping right about now, no?" The snowy ball of fur asked politely, comforted to finally have seen another familiar face.

{Since Wynter hasn't replied, I'm going to pretend he isn't here. If he decides to join in again, we can incorporate him back in.}
Frisk didn't object to his proposition, which didn't surprise Shade. Not a bit. That mutt sure did hate social interaction. Odd, because he is a wolf, and wolves were gregarious, but there's always a black sheep..in this case, a black wolf. Shade looked over everyone in his immediate surrounding. Why was it that everyone was coming to the lake at the same time? Prior to this night, Shade hadn't even know any other packs lived close. Something was happening, disrupting routine. Something he couldn't quite pin down. He jumped, startled when West whispered in his ear. The soft hiss was cold in audibility, but the warm air the white canine expelled was soothing. It sent a chill all throughout his body; the reason unknown. What he did know is that he didn't want it to stop. It felt really weird..really good. He hoped his blush didn't show through his fur...'Look at me...acting like a yearling. Just a whisper, nothing more..' It was nothing but a whisper, right? It had to be.. His beta knew better than to try anything like that.
When West had left, Shade replied with an agreeing nod. He couldn't be too careful, especially with everything that was happening. Even the spirits of the Grove seemed restless, aggressive, actually. "Frisk, I'd suggest you hurry off to find Shard. It's time we head in for the night. I feel we've left the shrine alone for too long." Shade had almost completely forgotten about the shrine deep within the grove. It was Deepwood's duty to keep it from harm, and thus far, they've done well to protect it. Upon announcing to Frisk his plans to return, Ineo, one of their own, had shown up to the lake's edge. West seemed very excited to see him. "Hello, Ineo. Come to enjoy the moonlight with us?" Shade looked at him, then trailed out to the small speck of an island in the center of the vast lake. The small wripples on the water's surface hindered the reflection of the starry sky, where the tiny little lights seemed like doors to another land, dazzling and dancing about the black canvas. Something you couldn't see in the thick canopy that was Sacred Grove. Not that one would need the sky's light. Plenty of plants provided that, along with the tiny wisps that fluttered to and fro. "Ineo, you are more than welcome to go with Frisk in effort to retrieve Shard, but I'd understand if you need a bit of alone time. West and myself are heading back home for the night. Stay out as long as you'd like, if you'd like, but be mindful. Make sure you're checking around regularly. We've seen a surplus of others-not part of Deepwood. None of them have been a threat, but there's a first for everything. Do as you please with the night, but be mindful of such strangers."
Shade stepped foward, then licked Ineo on the side of his muzzle. It was a show of affection, as well as respect. Anyone in the Deepwood pack was considered family, and family look out for eachother and love eachother; it was no different here. "Come on West, let's get back to the shrine."

Rhiannon watched the interaction between the other wolves. She could tell they were part of a pack just how they acted around each other and not just because they all carried a similar scent. It was odd for the shewolf to se so many wolves in one place, specially when it was a mixing of packs. Normally a fight would have already broken out between them, but this was an eery peace. She stood and stretched out, she had been sitting still for so long her muscles had started to ache.
Standing at her full height she glanced up at the night sky. It was dark out, she had waited too long to go hunting but hopefully her pack was too busy to notice that she had skipped her duty. It wasn't like she did it often, she just got lost in her own world which wasn't a bad thing. When the black wolf had told the one with the red eyes that he should leave she couldn't help but sigh in relief at not having to further deal with the rudeness.
But whenever he spoke of heading back and that the newcomer he had called Ineo was told to be careful. Rhiannon took a look around the lake once more, finding no smaller prey and because it was to dark to go fishing she decided it was time to go. Nodding her head towards the other wolves in a farewell motion she walked past them and toward the tree line.

Ineo returned West's courtesy, in the form of a smile and slight nod. He absentmindedly listened to West, preoccupied with his own thoughts. He cocked his head slightly to the side, examining the wolf who possessed a notable tail frosted with black. Despite him not realizing it, his muscles tensed as the she-wolf stood and stretched, a different part of his brain preparing itself for the need to act. He felt himself loosen, silently chuckling to himself. "There's no need to be so ill at ease, Ineo." He reminded himself, an audible sigh following the death of his chuckle. He considered returning to his examination, the mental dissection of the now active wolf, but the fact he had been spoken to finally pierced the veil. "Actually... I had just rose, immediately before my journey here. As for what brings me out... I simply enjoy the rocks here." He responded, a grin splitting his maw.
Ineo immediately turned his attention to Shade, offering the alpha his undivided attention as he was addressed. Shard? It was unknown to him that Shard had gone missing or gotten into any trouble. Or maybe that simply wasn't the case, maybe Shade just needed the stubborn creature back for something. It wasn't his place to question orders, or in this case, requests. "If Frisk doesn't consider it a hindrance.. I'll gladly assist. I am well rested, and surely two noses are better than one." He replied after a short consideration. Ineo tensed slightly as Shade approached him, relaxing as he was greeted with the gentle showcase of endearment. It warmed Ineo to be treated so affectionately. He bowed his head respectfully as Shade continued pass, turning his attention to Frisk afterwards. He left the question unasked, awaiting permission to join Frisk in his search.

Oddly enough, even through the thick obscurity that veiled the body of churning liquids and all of their surroundings, the strangely complacent white wolf took notice of a slight discoloration that speckled Shade's sable face. 'Strange. I've no recollection of Shade ever letting such a shade of red make an appearance.' West thought, and for a moment, he began to ponder on the origins of his alpha's mildly-flustered state. Within the planes of his mind, time was rewound, as easily as music could be, actually. He let recent scenarios play freely, and examined each one of the closely in hopes of pinpointing the source of what about Shade had peaked his curiosity. Everything seemed to have been so common and along the lines of normality. However, he did recall that just before the gang of new and old faces alike had shown, he and the black wolf were playing around in the water. Honestly, he would've loved for it to continue, since, he did have a bit of a crush on Sha—wait. Had the cause of Shade's blushing been the way he whispered into the alpha's ear? It very well could've been, since it was the only thing that, when thinking about it, could've yielded such a result. 'I'll take the time to finally confront him once we're alone at the shrine.' West thought to himself, nodding, as if he were reassuring another of his own thoughts.
"Hm?!" The snowy canine nearly jumped while giving Ineo his absentminded response. His pointed ears swiveled, then erected at the pole of his cranium, now pulled free from the little daze that he allowed his subconscious to wander into. "Ah, I see. I hope your slumber was accompanied with only the most grandiose of dreams, Ineo." He answered politely, and after their alpha had given a kiss to the side of Ineo's face, West stepped forward and gently bumped their noses together. While doing so, he gave a light 'boop' accompanied by a deep chuckle. Here, everyone was thought of as family, no matter what the color of their pelt was, or what lands they took residence upon before they came to the grove. He'd always care for those he held close to him. After a brief moment, West's foot paws reared back just a few steps, and his body was submerged once more. "Stay safe, Ineo. As Shade said, we'll be heading back to the shrine now. There have been some odd occurrences around here as of late, and we needn't another brother lost to the grove's unknown. If anything even seems slightly off-putting, please retreat and come home for the night." With that, he moved along and followed Shade into the starlight water, watching as the tiny little galaxies fluttered about the once-cerulean body of water, the ripples generated upon its still surface causing them to become slightly distorted. There was something that West loved about night time, yet, he felt that the same thing could act as a double-edged sword, bringing about his worst nightmares.
Once beside the larger alpha, West bumped their sides together, still staring out into the vast lands. He shivered slightly, unable to really deal well with the cold. "Oh, and for the record, it's totally your fault that you got wet. You asked a wolf that hates the water to take a dip with you." The beta teased, snickering mischievously before he set off on their journey home.
